Lay down on the red carpet

It's always been difficult to please women, but retail shops are definitely working on it. Boudoir London, a lingerie shop located in Juhu, organises kitty parties for women so that they can have a gala time at the store while shopping. If need be, the shop also makes special arrangements for a romantic date. The best way to please your girlfriend and create a naughty, sensuous mood while you debate over which night gown would look the best on her. Dalbir Bannin, owner of the shop says, "The aim is to make lingerie shopping fun and special".

Going a step further is the exclusive Rose Gallery in Breach Candy, which caters to only a select few in the city. The mild, sweet fragrance of rose is meant to relax you, after a while in the shop you could choose from the specially designed beverage menu as you take in the fine jewellery. If the airconditioning is too much for you to handle, a warm pashmina shawl appear to make you feel warm and comfortable. Birendra Vaidya, the owner of the store, believes that every customer is special.

And it's not just the women who are being pampered, there's lots for the kids too. An in-house play zone at Shopper's Stop ensures that your child is busy with his games while you shop away. Hobby Ideas ensures that your kids are engrossed creatively in their store. Says Dev Jolly, "We conduct hobby workshops on a regular basis in the store. Aero-modelling, clay craft, soap craft, kids can learn a variety of things at the store. We just don't encourage kids to buy products but develop their interest in various hobbies so that they could discover a probable career in the same."

Not many seem to believe in pampering men but there is a store that offers them just what they want - 'Not go shopping at all'. Boss Hugo Boss offers to bring the entire store at your doorsteps and help you choose a perfect fitting denim or a shirt in the comfort of your home. Jet Gems, a jewellery boutique in Bandra, has designed a mini library for men who just have to be at the shop to probably nod at their wife's choice and pay the bill. They can sit in the library, read their favourite best sellers and sip a hot cup of cappuccino.
